My husband insists on enormous amounts of shampoo making lots of suds every time he starts to smell which is usually a day or two after he has been bathed. He’s been checked out by a veterinary specialist and he has no skin problems – yet. I know washing him so often is wrong, and it’s causing huge arguments. Can you please advise? Our dog is a very big (not fat) golden retriever.
