One of my two dogs who have been the best of friends for over 14 years needed to be euthanized only two days ago. The surviving dog seems to be looking for his friend not only around the house but also when we go for a walk to the familiar places where I took both of them. Only time will tell how long it will take for him to realize his friend is not coming home.
