Welcome 2 new 4 legged friends to our walk today

Ume & Roxy enjoying Kawana Beach walk,  but watch out for all the dead Blue Bottles on the beach !! Thousands of them left from the high tide.

Check out the fun we had for Toby’s birthday.

I often Dog walk the whole circuit at Port Cartwright in a big lope and back to the car park,  but be careful of the times as you can walk dogs off lease from 210 to 217 at any times  so please read the signs.   Don’t get caught by the Doggy wardens !

Point Cartwright is an un-patrolled beach, situated at the base of the headland at the very northern end of Kawana beach. It’s popular for its surfing point break.
High cliffs in the coastal headland reserve provide great dog walks and  views of Mooloolaba, the Mooloolah River mouth, Mount Coolum to the north and Kawana Beach to the south. I have seen  migratory humpback whales on my dog walks as well as watching the huge ships entering and leaving the Port of Brisbane with the views to the east.

Grassy slopes provide excellent locations for family picnics and great when exercising your dog by throwing a ball or stick down the steep slope.

Toilet are available at the Pacific Boulevard entrance to the reserve which is very handy when walking your 4 legged friends, also poo bags and bins along the path ways, so no excuse to pick your doggies doos up.

La Balsa Park, at the end of Harbour Drive and on the edge of the Mooloolah River is the perfect place for the kids to play and the adults to sit and watch the world around them.
